Very rare 'Regent' armchairs designed by Martine Bedin in 1983 for Memphis Milano.
The chairs have a metal frame lacquered in eggplant/brown. The seats and backrests are in bird-eye maple veneer and are supported by yellow wooden supports.
The frame is a bit tilted, which makes the chair unusual and intriguing.
Remarkable is that both chairs are signed underneath the seats by Ettore Sottsass in 1988.
The chairs are in very good original condition. Only minimal traces of use.
