Iconic throne chair, called 'Tappeto Volante' (Flying Carpet), designed by the great Ettore Sottsass in 1974 for Bedding Brevetti Italy.
It is marked with the Bedding label on the base.
This amazing fantasy lounge chair must be one of the most innovative designs of the Radical Design Movement, which expands the relationship between form and function to create new and surprising solutions.
The chair has a beech wood base and armrest. The seat and back are covered with green and red fabric and the other armest is covered with striped fabric. All mounted on the carpet.
The flying carper is in very good original condition. Only minimal traces of use.
