Fantastic sofa, model Cubista, designed by Massimo Morozzi in the 1990s for Edra Italy.
Morozzi was an architect/designer and one of the founders of the avant garde designers group Archizoom, who became art director of Edra in the 1990s. The sofa is marked with the Edra label.
This model was in production for about 5 years and not many were produced and is therefore hard to find.
The sofa consists of a cream base, purple seat and 3 elements in orange and purple to play with. When you put this 3 elements on the purple seat it will form a cube or more precisely a rectangular block.
The sofa is made of foam covered with fabric. The purple fabric has a hint in it, that's why there seems to be a color difference on the pictures.
Very playful set with many possibilities.
The sofa is in good original condition. It is professionally cleaned. On the left side of the sofa there's still a stain that's hardly visible (see the last 2 pictures). Furthermore very good.
