Amazing 'Reinventing the Wheel' (RTW) bookcase, designed by Ron Arad and manufactured by Hidden Netherlands.
Originally he designed a bigger version in his own atelier in 1996, which is extremely rare, only a few made.
In 2000 Hidden started production of this smaller version in 2000 with the plan of mass-production. Eventually it was only produced in a small quantity (most likely only 20 pioeces), because of the bancruptcy of the company. So this version is very rare as well and a true collector's item.
The wheel is fully made of aluminum. The shelves remain horizontal when the wheel is turned, was derived from the original limited edition.
The wheel is in good original condition. Some normal traces of wear, especially around the outer rim form rolling it.
