Charlotte Perriand Ventaglio 511 Table for Cassina 1972

Vantaglio 511 Dining Table / Desk, designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1972 for Cassina Italy.
The original Cassina booklet is with it.
A multifunctional and revolutionary piece of furniture, whose form and use distinguish it from all other tables by synthesizing the whole concept of the art of living according to Charlotte Perriand. The top of the table is the simple but perfect result of the assembly of fourteen rectilinear staved oak planks of equal widths , placed side by side and skilfully assembled. The various elements are assembled in a structure of great elegance and versatility, which lends itself to interpretations that are as dynamic as they are innovative. Used as a dining table, Ventaglio can comfortably seat between 5 and 9 people. When used as a desk, its irregular shape can accommodate a variable number of people depending on the space needed to arrange computers and work instruments.
The top is supported by three legs positions at compelling shapes.
This amazing table is made of black stained oak and is in excellent condition. Only minimal traces of use.
