Martin Visser & Joke van der Heyden TE20 Dining Table 't Spectrum 1988

Very rare postmodernist dining table, model TE20 'Carol', designed by Martin Visser and Joke van der Heyden in 1987 for 't Spectrum.
There were 3 different versions: TE20 (Carol), TE21 (Sofie) and TE22 (Eva). This TE20 table is the largest of the series.
The tables were only made in very small numbers and therefore hard to find.
They are part of the collection of the Centraal Museum in Utrecht and the Museum Boymans van Beuningen in Rotterdam.
The table has an intriguing architectural appearance. Very interesting design.
It has a yellow cold painted steel top with die cut dot pattern. The base is made of stainmless steel. The top as well as the legs seem to float a little, which is a nice detail.
The table is in very good condition. Some normal traces of wear, tiny lacquer damages on the top.

Price € 7500,-
