Modernist wenge dining table from the 1960s, retailed by the Dutch exclusive department store Metz & Co.
Unfortunately designer and producer are unknown to me.
It has nice solid wenge crossed legs with a black metal bar in the middle that keeps the legs in its place.
The top is made of wenge feneer with a beautiful grain to the wood.
The table can be easily dismantled into four parts.
It is in very good condition. One minor nicely repaired damage at the bottom of a leg (see last picture). And the table top has a minimal bulge as visible on the pictures (the middle is slight higher than the sides). This is hardly visible and has no influence on the functionality.
